JBPA Mission Statement

The Johnston Band Parents Association (JBPA) was incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation whose purpose is to assist and support the Johnston Band Program as follows:

  • To promote, encourage, and support the Johnston Community School District's (JCSD) 5th - 12th grade instrumental music students, directors, and their programs.
  • To encourage parental involvement.
  • To develop postive community awareness and appreciation of the Johnston Band programs.
  • To offer financial support to the activities of the Johnston Bands that are beyond the resources of the JCSD, when such activities are within the JCSD policies and procedures.

 

All parents/guardians are automatically members of JBPA by virtue of having a student in the Johnston Band Program.  Please remember that even the smallest investment of time and/or money in the Johnston Band Program is important to the Program’s continued success!
